Our roasted waxworms are slowly heated to bake out moisture while retaining beneficial protein and other vitamins and minerals.  We recommend mixing the roasted waxworms with other seeds or food sources.  During breeding season and cold winter days the roasted waxworms are very beneficial due to proteins and fats for increased energy.  Blue birds, nuthatches and cardinals will soon discover these roasted waxworms in your feeder and they will become their favorite.  Ducks and squirrels also devour the roasted waxworms.

If you really want to offer your backyard birds the best treat, mix the roasted waxworms with live waxworms. The live waxworms will absolutely excite your birds since they will be moving and crawling, this will activate the birds natural instincts to feed!
